Programs
Our child care experience is designed to promote each child’s own individual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Infants
We strive to make the transition from home easy for the infant as well as the parents. Our nurturing teachers recognize the importance of infants having responsive adults to meet their needs in a consistent and loving manner. While in our care, we will teach your infant gross and fine motor skills and language and cognitive skills through music, exercise and outdoor blanket time sprinkled with lots of fun and giggles.
Toddlers
This classroom for 12 to 24 months of age promotes independence and socialization while the toddlers are busy mastering walking, running, and other gross and fine motor skills. We facilitate logical thinking and imagination and will encourage exploration on their own. We encourage the children to use words and thoughts to interact with each other while they spend their day filled with fun, interesting and engaging hands-on activities.
Twaddlers and Preppers
These age groups (24 to 30 months and 30 to 36 months respectively) explore and are naturally fascinated with their environment. At Learning Ladder Academy, LLC we strive for a perfect balance of nurturing, learning, and playtime by combining fun and engaging activities with quality care. Children will be exposed to a variety of activities designed to reach every kind of learner – sensory, auditory and kinesthetic experiences will be available throughout your child’s day. These kids need a safe and supportive environment where they can practice new skills and learn healthy and consistent boundaries.
Preschool
The 3 to 4 year old kids are inquisitive and our lessons are planned and implemented based on assessment and individual learning styles. We introduce the children to written, visual, verbal and physical activities involving the alphabet and early literacy skills. We utilize arts and crafts, songs and games, science, language and mathematics.
Pre-K
At this age we stress independence, equip them to think for themselves and ask meaningful questions. In this classroom we know it is critical for the children to retain and understand concepts so they will be well prepared for Kindergarten. Our goal in Pre-K is for your child to finish the program with the skills, foundation and love of learning that is essential for their future success in school.
Before and After School Care
We offer the perfect transition for children who are preparing their day for school or just finishing up from their school day. This is available for school age children up to and including the age of 12. In the morning we provide a healthy breakfast and a snack in the afternoon. Transportation may be available to and from your elementary school. Please inquire with the school Director for additional details.
